Data stays close
AIDA keeps its database on the clinic’s own computer. LabPortal runs on a database we host ourselves, not on a cloud subscription.
We run clinics, laboratories and field operations with our own software – AIDA, LabPortal and Implapedia.
Medex develops the tools its own clinics, laboratories and field team work with every day, and offers the ones that are ready to dentists and dental laboratories in Türkiye. Four products are live: AIDA for the clinic, LabPortal for the laboratory, Implapedia as an open reference, and MedexSupply behind our distribution.
The point is not software for its own sake. Data recorded in the clinic, with the patient’s consent, can become post-market clinical evidence for the manufacturer. That is the loop that connects Technology to Evidence.
Each has its own page with features, status and contact.
Desktop management software for dental practices. Patient records, appointments, consent, stock, laboratory and implant tracking, accounting. Data stays on the clinic’s computer.

DetailsA study-specific model for collecting and evaluating clinical data: what AIDA records, what leaves the clinic, and what Medex CRO does with it.
Before any data is collected, the manufacturer and Medex CRO define the study plan: objectives, endpoints, follow-up schedule, participating clinics and the approvals required, including the ethics committee and, where applicable, TİTCK. AIDA’s implant form is configured to that plan; its default follow-up template of one week, eight weeks and eighteen months is a starting point, not a standard for every study.
In AIDA the dentist records the implant’s reference and lot, risk factors, bone quality, loading and the follow-up visits; the patient’s research consent is signed on screen. Only the forms of consenting patients are exported, once a month, as a single file encrypted so that only Medex, which holds the private key, can open it. The clinic itself cannot read the file, and every export is written to the audit log.
Medex CRO checks data quality against the plan, analyses the data and prepares the post-market clinical follow-up report and clinical evaluation the manufacturer needs under EU MDR. Responsibilities between manufacturer, clinics and Medex CRO are set out in the study agreement.
The export contains no names, national ID numbers, phone numbers or addresses. Patients are represented by a case code; initials, age and sex remain, so the data is pseudonymised, not anonymous.
Version 1.0 for macOS; a Windows build is available on request.
